Breakfast with Santa Sign-ups

Space Camp Scholarships--FYI


Space Camp scholarships for summer 2013 are now open! Trainees ages 9-18 can applyhere for a weeklong adventure training to be an astronaut at Space Camp®, a fighter pilot at Aviation Challenge® or design robotics on land, in the air and underwater in the ALL NEW Robotics Camp.
Space Camp, Aviation Challenge and Robotics Camp programs prepare young leaders for future careers in science, technology, engineering and math. These unique, fun and hands-on educational programs cultivate real-world skills for trainees.
  1. Apply leadership to problem-solving skills
  2. Practice reasoning, coping and analytical skills
  3. Immersive hands-on high-technology
  4. Encourage all-hands teamwork
  5. Stimulate interest in science, math and technology
  6. Demonstrate real-world applications
  7. Promote the joy of learning

The U.S. Space & Rocket Center Foundation exists as the fund-raising component of the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible and can be made payable to: The USSRC Foundation, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, AL 35805. The scholarship program gives deserving children an opportunity to participate in these life-changing programs.

Monday, November 12th- Duke TIP meeting during lunch for 7th grade students in the GATE room.

Monday, November 12th - AGATE monthly meeting at 6:30 in the GATE room.

Monday, November 12th -- all trip deposits due.

Tuesday, November 13th - 6th grade meeting for GATE students during lunch in the GATE room.

Wednesday, November 14th - 7th and 8th grade meeting for GATE students during lunch in the GATE room.

All raffle tickets and t-shirt orders are due Friday, November 16th.
