3.  How could properties such as color, texture, and temperature help scientists distinguish between two different sampler of matter?

1.A-  What methods can you use to measure the volume of a solid?
2.B- How are the volumes of solids, liquids, and gases different?
3.C- What would happen to your weight if the force of gravity on Earth suddenly grew stronger?  How about your mass?

1.D-  What are the parts of an atom?
2.E-  How are molecules and compounds alike and different?
3.F-  How are chlorine and sodium different from the salt they form together?

1.G-  What are the properties of a mixture?
2.H-  You are holding a glass of orange juice with ice cubes floating in it.  What kind of a mixture are you holding?
3.I-  If you found an interesting mixture, what properties would you look for to try to separate it into its individual components?

1. J- What are the parts of a solution?
2. K- How does the amount of a solute in a solvent affect the solution's concentration?
3. L- What do you think happens when Earth's atmosphere becomes saturated with water vapor?
